I'm not an USB expert: this may either be a problem of the USB host
controller driver - I guess the one on the MPC823 differs to the one on your RedHat
8.0 + 2.4.18 kernel machine. Or the Berlios driver does something wrong
here.
Version 0.11 won't help you.
As I've recently changed the driver, could you please try the latest cvs snapshot
(0.12beta2) on your MPC823. In case of problems please switch on
debugging in your USB subsys (CONFIG_USB_DEBUG=y in .config and recompile
the kernel) as well as in the Berlios driver (module params debug=1 for
usbdfu.o and debug=-1 for at76c503.o) and post the syslog again.
