If your AP isn't found by its ESSID, this command won't help either. Please post a description of your device (chipset, radio chipset, USB ids; couldn't find it in the device table) and set the module parm debug=0x108003 for at76c503.o, retry (e.g. by ifconfig wlan0 down; ifconfig wlan0 up) and post the syslog (incl. kern.debug messages). Read http://at76c503a.berlios.de/support.html#trouble for more details. If your device contains Intersil radios, please read http://at76c503a.berlios.de/chipsets.html as well for some limitations of the firmware. > i also get the operation not supported message when trying to set the retry > limit (8B28) yes, that's missing, too. Any urgent need? /Jörg
