Hello,
I'm a french user of linux and in France the compagny called "wanadoo" launched a "wifi" pack in wich you can find a modem and the atmel usb wlan dongle.
I use a distro called JAMD wich is based on a RedHat 9, with the 2.4.20-9 kernel. I wasn't able to compile the driver (i have the kernel sources on my hardrive but it didn't work) so i downloaded the rpm.
The rpm created a folder in /lib/modules/ -> /lib/modules/2.4.20-19.9/kernel /drivers/usb
The folder was wrong so i took the files and i put it in my kernel folder -> /lib/modules/2.4.20-9/kernel/drivers/usb
When i plug my usb wlan device, it shows "device xxyy not claimed by any driver" so i try to lauch the driver manually by "modprobe at76c503" (i tried all the files), and it doesn't work ("can't locate module at76c503")
So, i don't understand because the files are in the right folder. Please help me!!!
