driver compile error

Hi. I have been trying to get the driver to work in the past couple of days. 
But so far I have not made any progress. Here is my situation.

I upgraded my Red Hat Linux from 7.2 to 9.0 this Tuesday (with kernel 
2.4.20-8). I am using Linksys wireless USB adapter WUSB11 ver.2.6. So I 
downloaded the latest driver release at76c503-0.11.
But after I <su - root> and enter command <make> under the directory the 
"Makefile" is located, I got tons of compile errors. The first one is as 
follows:

/usr/include/linux/timex.h:173:field 'time' has incomplete type
In file included from /usr/include/linux/bitops.h:69
                     from /usr/include/asm/system.h:7
                     from /usr/include/linux/sched.h:16
                     from at76c503.c:79

I have browsed through the mailing list archives. There are some compile 
error reported. But none seem to be the same as mine. Answers to those 
questions do not help me either.

The only thing I got from the mailing list posts is that the make file 
assume kernel header located at /lib/modules/'uname -r'/build. In my case, 
'uname -r' returns "2.4.20-8". So /lib/modules/'uname -r'/build points to 
/usr/src/linux-2.4.20-8. However, there is no such directory under /usr/src. 
There are only 2 directories under /usr/src: /usr/src/debug and 
/usr/src/redhat.

So did anyone have similar problem before? How can the compile error be 
solved? I desperately need to get it to work as soon as possible.
