Sorry, haven't got it. Which peer do you want to connect to in adhoc mode?
An AP, like your Linksys router, can only be reached in mode managed.
Adhoc mode is to connect clients only.
If the peer is another client, please try to start the peer first in adhoc
mode. Run the Atmel driver with debug's enabled ("iwpriv wlan0
set_debug 0x180003") and post the relevant part of your syslog with the
dbg msgs.
