RE: Problems with Linksys WUSB11

_Well, I just followed the quickstart at the Berlios doc and worked!!

Configure

iwconfig wlan0 essid wireless mode managed ap 0C:00:24:00:C8:83

and then

ifconfgi wlan0 192.168.100.123

and saw how the "dmesg" verified my actions.

I have a D-Link- like AP and that connects to my university main network. So 
I started ping the AP wireless side and then the AP Ethernet port and the 
default gateway.

Before doing the driver, I loaded RedHat 9.0 and marked the Kernel 
Development option while installing.

Besides that, nothing out of the ordinary.

If you feel like u need mode details, just drop a line.

David,

I was reading your thread during my effort to find help getting my WUSB11 to 
work with RedHat 9.0.  I'm having the exact same problems you were having.  
I can ping everything on the local net, including the router, I just can't 
get beyond the router to the rest of the world.

What was your final solution, if any?
