Kernel Panic with CVS version

Hello

I thought I'd try the CVS version of the berlios driver.  I installed cvs and 
followed the instructions on the website to download the code, and installed 
as per usual make && make install instructions, but each time I tried to 
connect the device my system froze.  Looking at the syslog, I can see several 
Oops messages.

	Belkin F5D6050 802.11b adapter
	USB1.1 interface using usb-uhci controller module.
	SUSE 9.0 with their kernel 2.4.21-192-default

System now working fine with the 0.11 drivers.  Bit worried because I intend 
to upgrade to SUSE9.1 when it comes out, and this will have Kernel 2.6.x. (my 
reason for testing the 0.12beta drivers).

Any ideas what I might have missed?  I've never used CVS before, so I'm 
wondering whether I missed some important step, between downloading the code 
and compiling it.
