It does, I think.  Yes, mine is also Ver. 100, and I'm guessing you'd remember 
if you had the one that didn't work.  The only other version I've heard of is 
the Ver. 2000.  I found one reference suggesting that there was indeed some 
difference in the chips used, and a slight tweak of the driver source was 
needed to make the right module gets loaded.
