Hello,

I just got my new WLAN card: Compex WLU11A
I bought that one, because I found a card with the same model name on
supported device list. But this one has other USB id: 03eb:7614

I tried the driver from CVS head, but it didn't handle my card
automatically, so I have modified at76c505-rfmd2958.c to include my
cards id. I have also downloaded binary firmware for that.

Here is what I got:
Apr 20 19:06:26 nic kernel: usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using address 3
Apr 20 19:06:26 nic kernel: /home/jacek/CVS/berlios/at76c503a/usbdfu.c: USB Device Firmware Upgrade (DFU) handler v0.12beta11-fwdl loading
Apr 20 19:06:26 nic kernel: /home/jacek/CVS/berlios/at76c503a/at76c503.c: Generic Atmel at76c503/at76c505 routines v0.12beta11-fwdl
Apr 20 19:06:26 nic kernel: /home/jacek/CVS/berlios/at76c503a/at76c503-fw_skel.c: Atmel at76c505 (RFMD 2958) Wireless LAN Driver v0.12beta11-fwdl loading
Apr 20 19:06:26 nic kernel: drivers/usb/core/usb.c: registered new driver at76c505-rfmd2958

After that my console hung an I could only use Magic-SysRq to reboot the
machine.

Before rebooting I had unplugged the card - this was also logged:
Apr 20 19:07:02 nic kernel: usb 1-2: USB disconnect, address 3
Apr 20 19:07:02 nic kernel: /home/jacek/CVS/berlios/at76c503a/at76c503-fw_skel.c: wlan%%d disconnecting

There is nothing more in the log, although I plugged the card and unplugged again.

I guess I need proper firmare for this particular product-id. How can I get one?

Greets,
        Jacek
