Hi, I'm still dealing with my compile errors of the latest CVS-download. The funny thing is, that my wlan is only working, if I enable the following options in my kernel: rescue:/usr/src/linux# grep ATMEL .config CONFIG_ATMEL=m # CONFIG_PCI_ATMEL is not set # CONFIG_PCMCIA_ATMEL is not set rescue:/usr/src/linux# grep WIRELESS .config CONFIG_NET_WIRELESS=y If I disable the CONFIG_ATMEL=m (like I should...), its not working anymore. In this case I can't even load the at76c503_rfmd module .... Any ideas whats going wrong here? its a vanilla kernel 2.6.6 on debian testing. Please find below lsmod and /var/log/messages output thanks christian rescue:/usr/src/linux# lsmod Module Size Used by 8250 28384 0 serial_core 18688 1 8250 atmel 32900 0 ipt_REJECT 5248 0 at76c503_rfmd 42756 0 at76c503 81376 1 at76c503_rfmd usbdfu 5636 1 at76c503 Jun 29 10:37:32 rescue kernel: usb 4-2: new full speed USB device using address 2 Jun 29 10:37:32 rescue kernel: /root/tools/at76c503a/usbdfu.c: USB Device Firmware Upgrade (DFU) handler v0.12beta14 loading Jun 29 10:37:32 rescue kernel: /root/tools/at76c503a/at76c503.c: Generic Atmel at76c503/at76c505 routines v0.12beta14 Jun 29 10:37:32 rescue kernel: /root/tools/at76c503a/at76c503-fw_skel.c: Atmel at76c503 (RFMD) Wireless LAN Driver v0.12beta14 loading Jun 29 10:37:32 rescue kernel: /root/tools/at76c503a/at76c503.c: $Id: at76c503.c,v 1.60 2004/06/15 18:20:37 jal2 Exp $ compiled Jun 29 2004 09:51:01 Jun 29 10:37:32 rescue kernel: /root/tools/at76c503a/at76c503.c: firmware version 1.101.2 #84 (fcs_len 4) Jun 29 10:37:32 rescue kernel: /root/tools/at76c503a/at76c503.c: device's MAC 00:08:a1:42:3b:1b, regulatory domain FCC (U.S) (id 16) Jun 29 10:37:32 rescue kernel: /root/tools/at76c503a/at76c503.c: registered wlan0
