Help with Linksys WUSB11 v. 2.6 wireless LAN adapter

I am a Newbie to the Linux world and am trying out Lycoris Update 3 Build
142.  Unfortunately, Lycoris does not support my Linksys WUSB11 v. 2.6
wireless LAN adapter.  Your website here and others have great driver
downloads available for helping folks like me get our WUSB11 v. 2.6's to
work.  However, I'm stuck because my Lycoris console does not support the
"make" command or "make install" command that is so vital to moving forward
with attempts at getting the WUSB11 to work.  I'm not a developer.  The
download version of Lycoris Desktop/LX does not come with the Lycoris
DevTools, which provides the "make" command(s).


With this challenge:

  1.. Is there any way someone here could just e-mail me the compiled driver
and errata and tell me what Lycoris folder to paste it in so that I can
click "Add New Hardware" and it will appear in the pick list?
  2.. If not, can someone send me a compatible "make" utility and tell me
what folder to paste it in?
  3.. What else could I do short of buying the Lycoris DevTools?  I don't
want to do that (at least not yet) since it apparently costs $50US.
