I'd simply take the latest cvs snapshot and > add a line for your ids into src/include/usb/config.h in the > RFMD_DEVICES: > > {USB_DEVICE(0x2001,0x3200)}, /* DWL-120e */ > > and try to build the RFMD variant. I have an USB DWL-120e. I patched the code and it works well, but sometimes the driver hangs while initializing the chipset (I always connect the card before inserting the module in the kernel); when it happens, the systems goes on working fine, but the whole USB bus is frozen, it does not recognize any event like (dis)connecting the card or my digital camera; "insmod" does not exit, "rmmod" fails with a busy message and I have to reboot the system in order to use any USB device. My /var/log/kernel is attached to this mail. You may notice that sometimes vnet_kernel.c: Reseting Usb Device is the last message in the session. By the way, other two small question: if I connect the card after inserting the module, it is not recognized: is it ok? if I disconnect the card without previously removing the module, it is removed anyway automatically: is it ok? Thank you very much for your kind attention!
