Hi mate, the .vnetrc stuff from the SF driver works also with the berlios driver. Here are my entries I used for it in /etc/modules.conf so that the script is started when the driver is loaded: # Wireless Lan port alias wlan0 usbvnetr post-install usbvnetr /bin/fastvnet.sh #alias wlan0 at76c503-rfmd #post-install at76c503-rfmd /bin/fastvnet.sh You'll have however to install the SF drivers - ut it doesn't matter if you use the other one :) Then - configure the .vnetrc file (It's located in my /root/.vnetrc, you can move it somewhere else - but you'll have to adapte the /bin/fastvnet.sh script to reflect the change. Cheers Joerg Nr. 2 - I'm just a user - but always feel people also talking to me;))) On Tuesday 15 July 2003 14:45, Richard Osborne wrote: > Hi Joerg, > > Thanks for your help. > > Late last night I got it to work with the following > commands: > > iwconfig eth0 key [1] 1234567890ABCDEF1234567890 > iwconfig eth0 key [1] > iwconfig eth0 enc on > > That last line was not in the documenation page for > iwconfig (as far as I can tell), I gave it a shot > because the man page mentioned 'enc off' at one point > so I guessed that 'enc on' might be valid.
