Hi

Trying to set up this card with the atmelwlandriver on SuSE 8.2. smc2632W v3
is a PCMCIA card, but I'm not sure what is inside.

It seems that the pcmf502re will work for this card. Is this true? At least
the green LED flashes when the driver is loaded. And I can ping the address
assigned to the interface.

But that's as far as I get. It can't see the access point (smc 2655W) no
matter what iwconfig settings I try. i try with no encryption, no MAC list,
changed channels and so on.

Not completely sure, but I do think that there's radio contact. The tr/rx led
on the access point is more active when the smc 2632W card is started.

Strange thing is that at one point, iwconfig reported an access point, but it
was a completely different MAC address!

Has anybody experienced anything like this?
