Hi More information about trying to get an SMC card with ATMEL chip working. I set up an entry in /etc/pcmcia/config to match the info returned from "cardctl ident". card "SMC 2632W-V2" manfid 0x01bf, 0xb301 bind "pcmf502r" I also turned debugging on the drivers. These two steps now manage to hang my computer on boot with the card installed, or when I insert the card later. Messages: pcmf502r: AMTEL 11Mbps Wireless PCMCIA LAN driver version 4.1.2.31 -> vnet_attach() -> vnet_event(registration_complete, 0, 0x00000286) -> vnet_config(0x00000008) pcmf502r: RequestConfiguration: Bad Vcc PARALLEL FLASH Init and Start Card 1 IFACE base = 0x505 and then my computer stops. I need to hard power down and restart (without the card inserted). Any idea what I need to fix?
