MAC address of FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF on AX4T mobo

o behave properly. Is there something I can specify in my lilo.conf to force a valid MAC address before DHCP has a chance to broadcast for an IP? Will that even solve the problem?

I've had the same problem on a previous install of Mandrake, and I believe my Gentoo install failed for this same reason.
