at first sorry if someone gets this mail twice.=20
i'm having problems with our mailserver :(

following situation:
kernel 2.4.21
eepro100: v1.09j-t 9/29/99 Donald Becker eepro100.c: $Revision: 1.36

2 eepro100, 2 madge token ring cards
eth1 stops to respond.
sometimes (on another system one of the tr-cards stops to respond, too)

note the first different status-line in /var/log/messages:

the sysadmin restarted the box and therefore i just have a "fresh"
output from eepro100-diag BEFORE the problem.

is this a known problem? and is there maybe a solution for that?
i found a posting about a "sleep"-mode which had almost the same
symptoms. is there a possibility to disable sleep-mode via
module-parameter?
