eepro100 problems

I'm getting terrible performance with my onboard Intel ethernet "card".
It's on an IBM Thinkpad T21.  I get 2.7 kb downloads from a particular web
site.  When I change to a pcmcia 3COM card, I get 1mb downloads from the
same site.

I've tested this about 10 times.  It's very consistent (100% of the time).

When I run ifconfig eth0, I see lots of frame errors and overruns.

I've tried the version of eepro100.o from RedHat kernel 2.4.17 and 2.4.18,
as well as the latest code from sycld.  All three versions give the same
error.

Any suggestions?
