Sony Erickson

I have an old Sony Erickson that I use with gammu to send and receive text
messages from my computer. I would like to be able to receive pictures on
this phone, but when I text a picture to the phone the message does not
show up on the phone at all. My service is with a minimal plan with
T-Mobile since I only use the phone for texting. Does anyone know what I
must do to enable a Sony Erickson to receive messages so that I can later
get gammu or wammu to retreive them from the phone?
