Hi Gilberto, I've asked for M2M solutions to Portugal operators. Only Vodafone answered and basically they just sell a SIM card which allows data traffic. Using a card like this in a SIM800L module, I can send/receive SMS and also run USSD commands. But what I need is to communicate between two machines using the same hardware. If I use SMS, it is too costly. It costs around 0.085 EUR. 0.085 EUR may seem low cost, but multiplied by thousands it's expensive. So, there must be a way to connect M2M through Internet, i.e. GPRS? Am I right? Does gammu allow this? I can get HTTP pages with AT commands. Does gammu allow an abstraction layer on top of AT commands to get HTTP pages? Thanks. João M. S.
