I think that it will work if you never access SMS from phone menus and I think that gnokii --reset soft is enough to have the message database rebuilt but I haven't tested all possible cases (it reboots the phone but it doesn't delete anything AFAICT, but be careful) we don't know if there is a better way to handle SMS in Series 40 3rd and later, but maybe we can tell that by enabling more channels in NK6510_Subscribe() > Finally, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Pawel Kot, Daniele > Forsi, and the rest of the gnokii team for a very useful software. you're welcome -- Daniele Forsi
