Using confguration:

I get: Inappropriate ioctl for device

Port seems to by OK:
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ ps aux | grep ir

none -s

ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ dmesg |grep tty
[ 0.000000] console [tty0] enabled
[ 6.408263] serial8250: ttyS1 at I/O 0x2f8 (irq = 3) is a 16550A

And the phone is there:
