Can't fetch SMS from Nokia 112

Contacts are seen perfectly in xgnokii but SMS are not displayed at all, even after enabling the reading mode. I tried AT and series40 connection modes. This is not an important request as the phone can make backups on microSD but syncing via Bluetooth would be more comfortable.
