That's a message from mac80211 and wpa_supplicant is not directly
involved in the transmission (and retransmission) of the Authentication
frame. In other words, this requires debugging mac80211 (and/or the
driver) to figure out why the Authentication frame cannot be transmitted
or cannot get an acknowledgment from the AP.
