I'm trying to get a PSC1100 configured in YellowDog 3.0. ptal-init setup probes for usb devices, but doesn't find any. cat /proc/bus/usb/devices shows the printer is detected, lsmod shows the printer module is loaded, but usbcore and usb-ohci aren't loaded. I'm presuming usb is compile in to the kernel since USB works for storage devices and if I try to insmod the usbcore and usb-ohci modules are not found. I've had a good look round for them and they really don't exist on my system. I'm using hpoj-0.91 and hpijs-1.6 and cups-1.1.17. Any clues?
