Hi, I've installed hpoj 4110 on my RH 9 desktop, and printing works just fine. However, when trying to activate the scanner, I get: # scanimage -L No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something different, check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the sane-find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation which came with this software (README, FAQ, manpages). # scanimage -d mlc:usb:officejet_4100_series -T scanimage: open of device mlc:usb:officejet_4100_series failed: Invalid argument I've compiled and installed: - hpijs-1.6.2 - hpoj-0.91 - sane-backends-1.0.14 I've tried all the connectivity tests mentioned in the hpoj docs, they all pass. I've made sure hpoj is in the /etc/sane.d/dll.conf file, and that "ls -l libsane-hpoj.so.1" is correct. Photo-copying using the device works, so it's probably not a scanning hardware problem. Anyone has an idea? Thanks joch ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: YOU BE THE JUDGE.
