Scanning with the HP PSC 2355v

Hello I'm running Linspire 4.5 and just bought a Scanning with the HP 
PSC 2355v today and installed the New drive r with no problems. Is there 
a way to get the scanning functions to work? Sane-find-scanner finds a 
scanner but scanimage -L does not. Is scanner functionality for the 
2355v not been released yet? This is such a cool printer I'm hoping to 
get the scanner functionality working through Xsane. Any help would be 
appreciated.
