printing problems after upgrading ghostscript

I recently upgraded to ghostscript 8.14 (from 6.51) and now I can't print.  I 
have a PSC 750.  It seems that it wants the hpijs driver which the "new" 
ghostscript doesn't have.  It only has ijs.  gs -h only returns ijs (along 
with other unrelated stuff), but not hpijs, nor any of the DJ9xx and so on.

What to do?  (the scanner works!!)
