Hi, I have a strange problem with a HP OfficeJet K80 on SuSE 9.2 (Kernel 2.6x, hpoj 0.91) and therefore need some debugging help. Please apologize if this is not the correct list, but someone recommended to ask here. 1) According to http://hpoj.sourceforge.net/suplist.shtml, the HP K80 officejet is "fully supported". [....] 2) The automatic installation (SuSE YAST) caused error messages. Then I installed it "the manual way", with ptal-init, as described in http://portal.suse.com/sdb/en/2002/05/ke_hp-officejet.html (I used the german document from [email protected], but thats the same). 3) I see no errors in the CUPS logs, so CUPS itself seems to be ok here.
