The DeskJet 710C is NOT supported by HPOJ. The printer is accessed
through the usual /dev/lp0 and the driver ist pnm2ppa, if not available
in your distro get it from http://pnm2ppa.sf.net/.
Install Debian's foomatic-filters package (to have foomatic-rip) and get
the PPD from
http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=HP-DeskJet_710C
Then proceed as shown on
http://www.linuxprinting.org/cups-doc.html
to set up your print queue.
