Concur roundly.

For this reason, but much more for the reason below. (My DJ 520 from 1993
will never die).

My HPOJ 1170C from 1998 stills goes strong, and my year-old OJ 7130 is still
a babe in the woods by any comparison. While the 7130 has USB, I
steadfastly refuse to use it for any of a number of reasons, and I have
the card that uses the LIO port to make a parallel port. This will never
change unless/until I am simply forced away from parallel port. But if
that happens, I sure don't want it to be because of available software.
