I have a slightly different, but related, question to the one below.

Is there any place where I can get documentation (or just information)
on the breakout of the various parameters ("Set-Up", I believe it was
called) on an HP OJ 7130 that are accessed via the front panel special
keys in some combination (i.e. * and #, I forget the exact sequence)?

I recently had to contact tech support to resolve an issue of erroneous
pickup when the unit was set to auto-answer, and they stepped me through
a sequence that allowed for setting a variety of numbered parameters that
controlled, for example, fax eavesdropping. After setting them, I asked
the rep where I could find such information, and of course the answer
was "you can't have them - you could mess up your device with them."

Whatever. Anyway, I would just like to have a reference guide of some
sort - no different, IMO, than having a full listing of AT commands and
parameters for a modem.

Any pointers to such information, or an authoritative answer of "you can
never know those", would be helpful.

(I'd like the whole enchilada, not just those devoted to fax support.
I'm just using the fax parameters as an example).

thx!
