I am running hpoj 0.91-9 with hpijs 2.1.7 on a Cups server on Debian Sarge. I'm finding the printing to be unreliable at best. At the moment, I'm trying to print a postscript reduction of a powerpoint presentation. I managed to get the first 6 pages to print with an lpr command. Then it printed a page with a few lines of garbage at the top and then a lot of blank pages. I've tried printing pdf and ps forms of this document with no more success. I've tried using ptal-print directly from the machine on which the printer is running and it prints the first page followed by the page with the lines of garbage and then blank pages. I can't find any error log in the cups logs files and I can't find any hpoj log files at all - are there any? Could this be something wrong with the file itself? Any suggestions, in that case? Any help gratefully received, Peter -- P.Saffrey-hclig2XLE9Zaa/[email protected] http://www.cs.ucl.ac.uk/staff/P.Saffrey/ Beacon Project http://www.grid.ucl.ac.uk/biobeacon/ ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
