hpoj is no longer being maintained, though there are some patches that can be 
extracted from the fc4 hpoj SRPM that you may be able to use. 

It would be better to use hplip instead, if you can. An RPM exists for fc4 
which works, but I had trouble with hpssd.py crashing until I partially 
disabled selinux. 

]# su (give root password)
]# yum install hplip 

If hpssd crashes, edit /etc/sysconfig/selinux
and change:
#SELINUX=Enforcing
SELINUX=Permissive

I would prefer to have selinux fully enabled. Hopefully the problem will get 
fixed.

This list doesn't see much traffic nowadays. The hplip forums may be more 
helpful.
