How to install ipw2200 driver in uclinux for embeded system?

hi:
  I want to install ipw2200 driver in uclinux for embeded system,but i 
don't know the method for cross-compiling. I just know : first i should 
compile ipw2200-1.0.0 in my federo2 system,just to get a file,and second i 
should copy this file and some firmware files to a uclinux system image.
  But, i don't know the detail,and how to configure.
  Please do me a favor.
