Hi all :
Ok , Yi , you confused me .
First you said :

> -2 means request_firmware() doesn't find the image. ipw2200 supports big
> endian machines.

And then you said :

> I mean ipw2200 driver supports both little and big endians. Your problem
> has nothing to do with this. It is a hotplug/udev problem.

So , i supposed to combine those as :
-2 means request_firmware() doesn't find the image.It is a hotplug/udev
problem.

Am i right ?

And if it is true , i have already download hotplug and when i use USB to
hot-plug , i can find it in /dev
But for ipw2200.ko , i will still failed as the dmesg as i posted .
I don't exactly know what the firmware for ?
Anyway , do i still lose anything ? Can anyone help out this , thank you .
