ipw2200 - Failed to send TX_POWER: Command timed out.

Hi,

I'm using the 2.6.16 kernel from www.backports.org, and when I issue:

modprobe ieee80211 ipw2200, I see this in dmesg:

ipw2200: Failed to send TX_POWER: Command timed out.

iwconfig shows that my interfaces have no wireless information.

I used the 2.4 firmware version.

Any suggestions?
