Hello all, After some more testing, and BIOS updating, I still cannot get the card recognised. The card isn't available thru lspci. The machine that I'm having trouble with is a Compaq deskpro EN small form factor series from 1998, 400Mhz cpu, 6.4Gb hdd. I tried several options: booting with "pci=nobios" gives a freeze during the boot. Using the option "enable pci device mastering" in the BIOS does the same thing. Does anyone has an idea of how to solve this? I have however stumbled upon a problem: On certain mainboards, like the one in the Compaq DPENS smal form factor pc series, the card isn't being recognised. I use a pci2mpci hostcard, and it usually runs fine, also on machines that use a PII cpu. What causes the card being detected/not being detected? regards, Hendrik-Jan Heins Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security?
