Re: ipw2200 compilation errors and WPA problems

I'm seeing the same warnings with Fedora Core 5 kernel  2.6.17-1.2139_FC5.
Just to verify my process, I rebuilt with the previous FC5 kernel 
2.6.16-1.2133_FC5 and
there were no warnings.

There is a new line in dmesg:
ipw2200: no version for "ieee80211_wx_get_encodeext" found: kernel tainted.

WPA association using wpa_supplicant succeeds despite the warnings.

ieee80211: 802.11 data/management/control stack, 1.1.14
ipw2200: Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200/2915 Network Driver, 1.1.3dmprq
