The current d80211's target is to support full softmac cards. While
ipw2100 and ipw2200 are kind of hardware mac implementation. We cannot
use d80211 without modifying it much.

Whether we will do this or not is actually depending on the requirement
from the community. Do most people want a just working wireless driver
or do they really care about the wireless stack the driver is using?
