wouldn't be feasable to have the driver continue the scan from the point 
it left then? that way, a scan would always complete, albeit in 2 (or even 
more) 'sessions' between DTIM. Some SCAN_CONTINUE would then follow such
SCAN_ABORT, or perhaps some SCAN_PAUSE instead, leaving SCAN_ABORT for 
definitive (for other than DTIM tune-back reasons) abort?
