Would you please load the driver with debug=0x43fff and

provide the debug log?

Thanks,

Hong

Subject: [Ipw2100-devel] Failed to scan network with 2200BG

Hi,

I try to use the IPW2200 on a powerpc platform.

Software & firmware versions :

1) v1.2.0 of ipw2200

2) v1.2.15 of iee80211 stack

3) Linux 2.6.16.11

4) v3.0 firmware of 2200BG

I make insmod ipw2200.ko to start the driver.

Its seems to work at the beginning but when the board scan the network nothing

happen...

I dumped the channel_results struct on the Scan result notification and the

field accumulated_rssi of ipw_cmd_stats indicates there is some network.

But when the driver called ipw_associate function, there is nothing in the priv-

>ieee->network_list ???

How does the driver or else add network in this network_list ?

At the end, the board seems to be shutdown because the driver failed to send

anay command => Failed to send SCAN_ABORT.

I have a strange trace means that the system try to transmit a frame with no

association : ipw_net_hard_start_xmit Tx attempt while not associated.

I put the trace of the driver :
