Hi! I wish to give some information about the LED functionality as well. I have a Dell Latitude D810 with an Intel 2915abg card provided by Dell. 03:03.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 2915ABG Network Connection (rev 05) I’m using kernel 2.6.19-rc6 and had prevous rc kernels as well. stse@nb16:~$ modinfo ipw2200 version: 1.1.4kdmprq stse@nb16:~$ modinfo ieee80211 version: git-1.1.13 The drivers are part of the kernel. The firmware is from the file ipw2200-fw-3.0.tgz. The ipw2200 module is loaded with the options: led=1 hwcrypto=0 wpasupplicant is version 0.5.5-2 (Debian Etch). Accessing different access points with WPA/TKIP or WPA/EAP I don’t get any led light until a firmware reset occurs. Then suddenly the light goes on. There is no difference if the card was deactivated with the kill switch by the time the module is loaded and activated later or was already activated. Maybe someone will help this. Shade and sweet water!
