Yes, a "soft" reboot is enough.

Everything looks correct to me. ipw takes down the card before
suspend, and tries to up it again after resume.

I only briefly tried 2.6.18, which failed to resume at all. Any other
ipw versions I should try? But as far as I've seen from the change
logs, there haven't been much changes to resume recently..
