I think you can try setting sys_config->pass_crc_to_host = 0 in init_sys_config(). Zhu, I have a question regarding the driver for the ipw2200 adapter, and its use in Linux. I am currently using this adapter together with Kismet to passively capture all types of 802.11 frames by putting the device into monitor mode. I wanted to know whether or not the ipw2200 driver allows frames received with FCS errors (i.e. with bit errors) are still passed up to the kernel and into the Kismet capture file? If this is not the case, then could you kindly explain which parts of the ipw2200.c file would need modifying in order to achieve this, as I am conducting important research into the frame error rates over wireless channels, and do not want to be missing those frames with FCS errors, as these are probably the most interesting of all to capture and have within my statistics. I kindly await your response. Thanks for your time. Regards, Ritesh --- Adaptive Communications Networks Research Group Electronic Engineering Dept.
