Re: Problem with ipw2200 and gentoo

Thanks for your answer but that doesn't help very much. I also used the 
ipw2200 and ieee80211 drivers provided in the kernel but the problem was 
the same. The content my /etc/conf.d/net file is the following:
    modules=( "wpa_supplicant" )
    config_eth1=("dhcp")

    wpa_supplicant_eth1="-w -Dwext -c/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf"
    associate_timeout_eth1=30

The content of /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf is the following:
    ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant
    ctrl_interface_group=0
    ap_scan=2

    network={
            ssid="AdlL5100Tn"
            scan_ssid=1
            proto=WPA
            key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
            pairwise=CCMP TKIP
            group=CCMP TKIP
            psk=...
            priority=2
    }

So I don't see what could be missed, but it doesn't work at all. During 
system start, the wireless connection always fails. However runnig 
wpa_cli -i eth1 reassociate immediately connects to the access point. 
So, this looks like a total mistery !
