Hi,

I recently had a laptop with the problem that it couldn't connect to a netw=
ork=20
with wpa professional (neither wpa1 nor wpa2). It turned out to be an=20
ipw2100-card.

I have not much experience with it, so I don't know what is needed on the=20
hw/driver side for wpa professional. My questions:
=2D Is this a hardware or driver limitation? Is there some way to get it=20
running? Some experimental code to try out?

=46rom what I know, the ipw2100 is one of the drivers still not ported to=20
mac80211 (?). Is this going to happen sometime in the future or is this=20
expected to never happen?
