QUESTION:About the data rate setting

Dear all,
Here is my question.My productis is an appoint access based on
pb44fus.I will be appreciate receiving any advice.
There are two points here,first is when I input "iwconfig ath0
rate 36M " and set wlan mode to 11g.The result is the AP
cannot connect to any client like NB,and it show the infomation:
"ath0: [00:1d:e0:8c:ba:01] deny assoc request, sta not
authenticated"
" ath0: [00:1d:e0:8c:ba:01] deny assoc request, rate set
mimatch"
[00:1d:e0:8c:ba:01]is the mac address of the client NB. And now the second
point ,I input iwconfig now,
show: Bit rate: 0kb/s
This question confused me a lot ,I did not find any answer about it .If
anyone is interested ,please contact me!
