Dear Pavel Roskin & madwifi users, Thank you very much for reply. > If you can reproduce "HAL status 0" faster than that, then it shouldn't > be a problem. Madwifi is not so buggy ;) (Un)fortunatelly this bug is much more rare than madwifi-ng hang in AP mode - I guess twice per week. The only way seems to me to add some custom logging and after while to provide them to you. It would be better for (I guess everybody) to fix AP mode sooner. I have tested only one CM9 card inside AP and a notebook that fully saturated line and even this simplistic setup triggered the AP hang. I could test for you any version and prove whether this problem persists or not. But unfortunatelly I do not have duplicite hardware reserved solely for MadWiFi debugging. > You may want to open a ticket in the Madwifi trac for that problem. At > least it would be easier to refer to the problem in the future. I'll do this. But I am not 100% sure whether it is one problem "wifi1: ath_reset: unable to reset hardware: '' (HAL status 0)" or two independent problems. regards Jara ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SOLARIS 10 is the OS for Data Centers - provides features such as DTrace, Predictive Self Healing and Award Winning ZFS.
