Which module are you actually using ?  As far as I know ath5k and ath9k
are not provided by madwifi and are discussed on another mailing list.

You can use either one of the 3 modules at a time.

I do recall that the AP support under ath5k and ath9k is either not
there or is too flaky till I last checked about a year ago.

I have an AP running satisfactorily for a long time with madwifi. Can
help, if you decide and confirm, i.e. if you want to use madwifi only.
